About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and accurate Stock Controller to manage day-to-day stock control, warehouse administration and data entry, with a particular focus on Sage. You will ensure physical stock and system records remain accurate and up to date, working closely with purchasing, production, sales and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock records and record all stock movements promptly.
- Enter goods received, transfers, adjustments and other transactions into Sage.
- Process purchase orders, delivery notes and stock documentation.
- Carry out stock checks, cycle counts and assist with stock takes.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and Sage.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate product, part number and supplier information.
- Produce stock reports and provide information to management.
- Liaise with relevant departments to resolve stock queries.
- Maintain organised paperwork and electronic records.
- Support general warehouse administration and follow all health and safety procedures.
