Are you an experienced Compliance Officer with a background in manufacturing, quality or regulated environments? Do you enjoy managing audits, maintaining standards and ensuring businesses remain compliant across health, safety and quality systems? We’re supporting a growing manufacturing business in Hampshire who are looking to recruit a Compliance Officer to support and maintain compliance across the organisation.
As a Compliance Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the business maintains compliance with industry standards, internal procedures and regulatory requirements. You’ll support audits, maintain documentation, monitor compliance performance and work closely with teams across the business to drive continuous improvement. This is a varied role where attention to detail, organisation and strong communication skills are essential.
Key responsibilities- Support and maintain company compliance systems and procedures
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and company policies
- Maintain compliance documentation and records
- Support ISO and quality management system activities
- Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions
- Work cross-functionally with operational teams to improve compliance standards
- Assist with reporting, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies where required
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience within a compliance, quality or regulated environment
- Understanding of ISO standards and audit processes
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of BRC, ISO 9001 or similar standards
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent
