Commercial assistant in Sittingbourne

Commercial Support Assistant Sittingbourne £30-35,000 plus benefits We’re looking for an organised and proactive Commercial Support Assistant to join a busy team within a growing business. This varied role will provide essential administrative and operational support across commercial activities, logistics, procurement and general site operations. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider team, you’ll help ensure orders are processed efficiently, records are accurate, deliveries are coordinated and day-to-day operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Process orders, prepare quotations and maintain accurate ERP/CRM records. Coordinate shipments, imports and customs documentation, liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders. Place packaging orders, monitor stock levels and manage supplier quotations. Check delivery notes and shipping documentation, maintain rebate records and support month-end stocktaking and reporting. Assist with customer and supplier communications, pricing updates and product data management. Order site supplies and coordinate maintenance and servicing requirements. Maintain databases, trackers and shared records, supporting general administration and process improvements. About You: Previous experience in a commercial administration, sales support or operations support role. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. Confident communicating with suppliers, customers and internal teams. Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, with experience using ERP or CRM systems advantageous. A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
