Site IT Lead required by my client in the Blackburn area. The Site IT Lead is responsible for the effective operation, support, and continuous improvement of all IT systems within the site. This role ensures IT services are delivered efficiently, securely, and in alignment with Group standards, while driving local adoption of the new ERP and digital improvement initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, ensuring system uptime, ticket response, and resolution SLAs are met.
- Oversee site infrastructure, networking, endpoints, and security in collaboration with Group IT.
- Implement ITIL-aligned processes for incident, change, and asset management using Freshservice.
- Take ownership of support services following the handover from managed service company, ensuring full local capability and documentation.
- Drive the effective use of the new ERP system within the site, providing training, configuration, and integration support.
- Lead and deliver local IT and automation projects aligned with the Group IT roadmap.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce ticket volumes through automation and self-service.
- Maintain accurate asset registers, network diagrams, and system documentation with FreshService Solution Articles.
- Manage site IT contracts, licenses, and budgets in accordance with Group IT governance.
- Provide monthly site reports covering downtime, incidents, and project updates.
