Are you an experienced Commissioning & Validation Engineer looking to join a long-established cleanroom company? Do you have a background in commissioning HVAC or laboratory equipment? If so, this role could be perfect for you!
This position is based nationwide, primarily the Northwest, with travel to client sites required and occasional overnight stays. The role is permanent, full-time and offers a salary up to £42,000 depending on experience.
As the Commissioning & Validation Engineer, you'll carry out a variety of commissioning, validation and servicing activities on cleanrooms, safety cabinets, isolators, fume cupboards and HVAC systems. You'll perform tasks such as:
- Air flow and volume calculations
- Air change rate assessments
- Room differential pressure cascades
- HEPA filter integrity testing
- Non-viable particle counting
You will report your results, liaise directly with clients and work with specialist engineers to ensure systems are operating correctly. You'll also follow risk assessments, health and safety procedures, and take responsibility for company equipment.
Requirements:
- Full, valid UK Driving Licence
- Experience with commissioning activities (full training provided)
- Ability and willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight as required
- CSCS or IPAF qualification is desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS check will be required
