My client is a leading specialist in modular construction, supplying to clients across the public and private sectors. They are looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager, taking ownership of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards. You will be a champion of a positive culture across their factory site and office environments.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop their management systems in line with ISO standards.
- Lead internal and external audits, certification renewals, and document control.
- Monitor SHEQ performance, analyse trends, and implement proactive improvements.
- Conduct inspections, deliver toolbox talks, and ensure compliance across all projects including occasional on-site audits and training.
- Support bid submissions, PQQs, and client audits with high quality SHEQ documentation.
- Engage teams across all departments to promote a safe, compliant, and quality-driven culture.
- Implementation, adaption and continuous improvement of company policies and procedures.
The Candidate
- Ideally have experience with the manufacture / construction of modular buildings.
- Ideally have experience in a construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
- Desirable to have knowledge of ISO 19650 (Building Information Modeling).
- NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.
- Experience in managing audits.
- Experience in the implementation, adaption and continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
- Full driving experience.
