A leading European manufacturer is seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business within an industrial, engineering or technical environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across the Midlands.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts while increasing spend and share of business.
  • Deliver consultative sales solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.
  • Work collaboratively with internal technical and commercial teams to maximise opportunities.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous B2B sales experience within an industrial, engineering, manufacturing or technical sector is a prerequisite for this role.
  • A strong background in new business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and occasionally within Europe for product training and business meetings.
