I'm currently working with a well-established and highly respected garden maintenance business that is looking for a Senior Gardener to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about horticulture and enjoys leading by example while remaining hands-on in the gardens.

The Role Working alongside the Head Gardener, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional garden maintenance across a portfolio of high-quality gardens.

You'll help organise daily workloads, support and mentor fellow gardeners, and ensure every garden is maintained to the highest standards.

You'll also build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they receive a professional and personable service every visit.

Key Responsibilities Supporting the Head Gardener with the day-to-day running of garden maintenance projects.

Leading by example with exceptional horticultural standards and professionalism.

Mentoring and developing junior gardeners within the team.

Taking ownership of garden visits when required, ensuring planned works are completed efficiently.

Understanding individual client requirements and seasonal maintenance programmes.

Maintaining excellent client relationships through clear communication and outstanding service.

Using scheduling software to manage workloads and keep records up to date.

Ensuring tools, machinery and vehicles are maintained and ready for use.

Promoting safe working practices and adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.

The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience within professional garden maintenance.

Strong horticultural knowledge and a genuine passion for gardening.

The confidence to support, mentor and motivate others.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

A proactive, organised and reliable approach to work.

A keen eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

A full UK driving licence.
