We are seeking a highly skilled and committed Registered Service Manager & Nominated Individual to lead a supported accommodation service for 16–18-year-olds in Bristol. This senior leadership role demands a dedicated professional passionate about achieving positive outcomes for young people, while ensuring the service consistently upholds the highest standards of Ofsted compliance, safeguarding, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the supported accommodation service, ensuring person-centred, effective care
  • Maintain responsibility for Ofsted registration and full regulatory compliance
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality support that promotes positive outcomes for young people
  • Inspire, motivate and develop the team to deliver outstanding performance
  • Oversee safeguarding, risk management, health & safety, and conduct regular quality audits
  • Manage budgets, resources and occupancy to maximise service efficiency and delivery
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities and external agencies
  • Support business development activities, including securing new placements and contracts
  • Drive continuous improvement to maintain a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating

Essential Experience

  • Proven leadership and management experience within a regulated care environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements
  • Demonstrable ability to manage staff performance and uphold service quality
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Competence in managing budgets and operational performance
  • Valid driving licence with access to a suitable vehicle
  • Ability to meet all requirements for Ofsted registration

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or equivalent social care qualification
  • Experience within supported accommodation or residential care settings
  • Familiarity with quality auditing and continuous service improvement
  • Understanding of local authority contracts and business development processes
