We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dual Registered Manager to oversee two Post-16 supported living services located in Winchester and Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a manager committed to empowering young people to develop independence, confidence and vital life skills as they transition into adulthood.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, supporting and nurturing staff teams to deliver outstanding care
- Ensuring robust safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently maintained
- Overseeing support plans, risk assessments and monitoring outcomes
- Managing staffing, rotas and day-to-day operations efficiently
- Supporting recruitment, supervision and ongoing staff development
- Collaborating with families, social workers, education providers and other stakeholders
- Responding promptly and appropriately to incidents and concerns
- Participating in the on-call rota
- Travelling between Winchester and Bristol as required
We are looking for a confident, organised and resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
Essential experience and skills:
- At least 2 years’ management experience within supported living or care services
- Proven ability to lead and develop effective staff teams
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Flexibility to travel and undertake on-call responsibilities
Desirable qualifications and experience:
- A Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification and experience supporting young people aged 16 and over.
