This divisional Quality Manager will join a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Segensworth, off junction 9 M27, near Fareham in Hampshire. You’ll be a vital part of the senior leadership team, with full accountability for all quality assurance, compliance, product quality and internal systems. With around 160 people on site, a quality team in excess of 20, you’ll lead and develop a capable team of Quality Engineers, Compliance and Supplier Quality professionals and engage directly with major customers and key suppliers.

What will I be doing? You’ll drive strategic quality improvements across the division, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, FAA, EASA and CAA requirements. You’ll also:
- Lead the deployment of a compliant, agile and effective quality management system
- Develop and execute the divisional quality strategy and report key metrics to group leadership
- Represent quality in customer relationships and executive-level reviews
- Lead internal and supplier audits, root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Use SPC, 8D, RCCA and other tools to drive process improvements and reduce cost of quality
- Represent QA at design reviews and support new product introduction
What do I need?
- At least 5 years in an Aerospace quality leadership role
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001 and relevant aerospace approvals (FAA, EASA, CAA)
- A recognised Quality Management or Assurance certification
- Experience leading quality assurance teams, including Supplier and Product Quality
- Proven success in improving quality performance, compliance, and audit outcomes
- Ideally degree-qualified in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
- A confident communicator who can influence, coach and lead across functions
