Our client is currently looking for an experienced Production Planner to join the business on a permanent basis due to consistent growth year on year. An excellent opportunity to join a business that values and promotes from within and progressing employees to enhance their careers.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare production schedules in order to meet business and customer demands
- General control and housekeeping of Production Work Orders
- Reviewing Warehouse stock availability
- Responsible for establishing and communicating daily work priorities to Supervisors for them to discharge
- Communication between Production and Customer Service and Purchasing Functions
- Effective capacity management of production lines, material and labour resources
- Creation of new item numbers and associated BoM information in Navision
- Maintain and communicate department KPI’s
- Proactively seek and implement improvements to the Production planning and execution processes
- General administrative duties for the Production Department
To work within business guidelines and procedures. Notify Manager of Safety Hazards. The above is a non-exhaustive list of duties, and you are expected to undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by your Manager.
