The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
This role will support the Production Manager in planning the Production order book ensuring that customer requirements are scheduled, produced and despatched on time, in full. Key to this role is the ability to effectively problem solve and collaborate with key stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare production schedules in order to meet business and customer demands
- General control and housekeeping of Production Work Orders
- Reviewing Warehouse stock availability
- Responsible for establishing and communicating daily work priorities to Supervisors for them to discharge
- Communication between Production and Customer Service and Purchasing Functions
- Effective capacity management of production lines, material and labour resources
- Creation of new item numbers and associated BoM information in Navision
- Maintain and communicate department KPIs
- Proactively seek and implement improvements to the Production planning and execution processes
- General administrative duties for the Production Department
- To work within business guidelines and procedures
- Notify Manager of Safety Hazards
