Are you an experienced Plant Fitter or mechanically minded engineer with a background in plant, HGV, heavy engineering, or similar equipment? We’re currently hiring a Plant Fitter (Mechanical / REME) to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of construction and heavy plant equipment. Tell me more… This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, routine servicing, and preventative checks to ensure equipment is always safe and operating at its best. You’ll inspect, clean, and prepare machinery, replace parts, and support larger repairs alongside the team. It’s an ideal role for someone with strong mechanical skills who thrives in a practical, problem-solving environment. Upto £38,000pa DOE, with great benefits and long-term opportunities for progression. What do you need? Proven experience with heavy plant, construction equipment, HGVs, forklifts, or hydraulics NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline (advantageous) Full, valid UK driving licence Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good understanding of risk assessments and safe working practices Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively What will you be doing?
