This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established and respected UK manufacturer supplying high-quality enclosure and busbar solutions to panel builders across the UK.

We're looking for a commercially driven Field Sales Manager who understands the electrical industry, enjoys building long-term customer relationships, and is passionate about developing new business. If you have experience working with panel builders or have sold products into this market, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a consultative, customer-facing role where you'll take ownership of an established territory while identifying new opportunities for growth. Working with panel builders, OEMs and electrical contractors, you'll provide technical sales support, develop specifications and deliver tailored solutions that meet customers' requirements. You'll spend approximately four days each week visiting customers throughout the UK, with one day based at the Manchester office to plan activity and work closely with the internal team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a business that values technical expertise, autonomy and relationship-led selling.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and grow sales within the UK panel builder market.
  • Identify and win new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
  • Build long-term relationships with panel builders, OEMs, electrical contractors and distributors.
  • Provide technical advice and commercially focused solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and manage projects from enquiry through to completion.
  • Promote the company's extensive range of enclosure and busbar solutions.
  • Represent the business professionally at customer meetings and industry events.
  • Monitor market activity and identify opportunities to increase market share.

About You

You'll already have experience within one or more of the following sectors:

  • LV Switchgear
  • Panel Building
  • Electrical Enclosures
  • Busbar Systems
  • Control Panels
  • Electrical Distribution

You may currently be working as a:

  • Field Sales Manager
  • Area Sales Manager
  • Business Development Manager
  • Technical Sales Engineer
  • Internal Sales Engineer looking to move into field sales

Experience with products or manufacturers such as ABB, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Terasaki, Eaton, Rittal or similar would be highly advantageous.

You'll also have:

  • A strong technical understanding of electrical distribution products.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A consultative approach to business development.
  • Commercial awareness with a proven track record of winning and developing accounts.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a UK sales territory.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Ideally, you'll live within 30–35 miles of Manchester.
