Technical presales Consultants bridge the gap between sales and technology/services by delivering tailored presentations and demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical expertise to win deals.
They identify customer needs, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and act as trusted advisors, ensuring proposed solutions meet business requirements while technically supporting the sales team.
As the technical representative you will be responsible for ensuring customer’s requirements are clearly identified and satisfied by the implementation of the company products and professional services and in addition provide market intelligence back to the company, e. g. competitive information, product deficiencies, technical opportunities, support services opportunities, etc.
They will be able to build and maintain enduring relationships with end-users, Govt Contractor Primes, key market influencers and other key stakeholders
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Discovery: Identifying and documenting customer pain points, technical environments, business and technical requirements.
Technical Demonstrations & Presentations: Delivering tailored, demonstrations and presentations that showcase how the product solves specific client problems.
Be able to promote the Nexor Portfolio of Products and Services.
Evangelise the company services, products, technologies, and expertise, and develop networking relationships with customers and industry contacts.
Solution Design & Architecture: Designing technical solutions, including hardware/software sizing and architecture planning, tailored to the client's needs.
Proof of Concepts (POCs) & Workshops: Organizing and delivering technical workshops and POCs to prove the feasibility of the solution.
RFP/RFI Technical Responses: Contributing to and leading the technical content in Proposals, Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
Sales Team Support: Acting as the technical partner to Account Executives, providing technical expertise during client meetings, and aiding in strategic sales planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaising with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback on product features and market needs.
Competitive Intelligence: Staying current on industry trends and competitor developments to effectively differentiate the company’s products.
Post-Sales Transition: Assisting in the handover process to implementation or customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition.
