This position is working for a company with the head office located in Gillingham. The role is office based but does require occasional site visits and client meetings. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. The position is paying a competitive basic salary depending on experience.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the fire sprinkler service and maintenance division, overseeing service delivery, engineer performance, compliance and client satisfaction. The role will involve managing inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs and remedial works across commercial sprinkler systems, while ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant industry standards and health & safety requirements.
You will lead and support a team of service engineers, monitoring productivity, performance and training needs, as well as acting as the main point of contact for key client relationships and escalations.
The position will also include responsibility for service performance reporting, remedial quotations, subcontractor management, commercial performance and driving continuous improvement across the division.
You will need:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial sprinkler systems
- Experience leading engineering teams with accountability
- Confidence managing and communicating with clients
- Knowledge of LPS 1048, TB203 and GN12 is desirable
- Knowledge of LPCB/BRE certification and audits is desirable
