Are you an experienced payroll professional looking to move into a training and tutoring role? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge, delivering engaging sessions and supporting the development of others? If so, this Payroll Specialist & Tutor position could be a great opportunity.

This role is working for a well-established payroll training and professional development organisation. The position is full time and permanent, fully home based, with regular travel across the UK and occasional travel to Ireland. The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm). The role is paying up to £45,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality payroll training both virtually and face to face, supporting learners across a range of payroll qualifications and development programmes.
  • Assess learner work, provide constructive feedback and contribute to the creation of engaging learning content including training materials, webinars, articles and course resources.
  • Provide technical support and industry insight to members, stay up to date with payroll legislation and contribute to the ongoing development of learning programmes.
  • While home based, the role requires full mobility due to regular UK travel.
Requirements:
  • Recent and substantial experience in payroll delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
  • Confidence delivering training or presentations to varied audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a mobile, home-based role.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK (with overnight stays as required).
