CNC Miller Trafford Park Double Day Shift Rotation / Perm Nights Available
Double Days:
- Week 1: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm
- Week 2: Mon-Thurs 1.45pm-9.45pm, Fri 1pm-6.30pm
Perm Nights: Sun-Fri 10pm-6am
The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Milling machines. Upon the manufacture of machined parts, you will be responsible for quality control, through the use of manual & digital measuring instruments.
Main Responsibilities
- Set and operate 3, 4 & 5 axis vertical milling machines.
- Prove out jobs.
- Ensure quality is met throughout the shift.
- Identify and communicate any issues which arise throughout the shift.
- Check manufactured parts for compliance to drawing.
- Use CMM, verniers, micrometers, gauges, calipers.
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines and practices are followed.
- Identify and develop manufacturing improvements / procedures.
The Candidate
- Time served engineer (desirable but not essential).
- Knowledge of vertical machining centres.
- 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Milling experience.
- Understanding and knowledge of manual and digital measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
