We're supporting a leading manufacturing business in Fareham who are looking to recruit Machine Cell Technicians to join their Production team. With both Early and Late Shift opportunities available, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where full training is provided.

What's the role all about?

As a Machine Cell Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the production process by carrying out inspection, measurement, cleaning and packing activities to ensure components meet the highest quality standards before being dispatched. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll follow established processes and procedures while maintaining excellent attention to detail and consistently achieving production targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out production activities safely and efficiently within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Perform visual inspections to identify defects and ensure products meet quality standards
  • Measure components using automated optical measuring equipment
  • Clean components using approved automated cleaning processes
  • Ensure products are contamination-free before packing
  • Pack finished components in line with customer and company specifications
  • Complete product labelling and traceability documentation accurately
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Report quality issues or non-conformances promptly
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and 5S standards
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department
