We are supporting a specialist engineering and manufacturing business in Fareham who are looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their LEAP team.
Whats the role all about? As a Production Technician, you'll be responsible for supporting manufacturing activities within a controlled production environment, ensuring products are assembled, processed and completed to the required quality standards. This is a practical, hands-on role where attention to detail and consistency are key.
Shift pattern and pay:
- Late Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am
- No Fridays - 3-day weekends every week
- £16.50 per hour + 25% shift uplift
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out production and assembly activities in line with work instructions
- Follow engineering drawings, SOPs and build processes
- Ensure products meet quality and compliance standards
- Carry out basic inspection and checks during production
- Maintain accurate production records where required
- Work closely with production, quality and engineering teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
What you'll need:
- Experience in a manufacturing, production or assembly environment
- Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- A reliable and proactive approach to work
