We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Controller to join one of our key manufacturing clients based in Fareham. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence by coordinating production activities, managing material availability, and driving on-time delivery performance.
As Production Controller, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and optimising production workflows to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, in full, and to the highest quality standards. You will take ownership of material and production shortages, working cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly and maintain efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning experience with Syspro or SAP would be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience managing material shortages and implementing effective recovery plans.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within filtration, engineered components, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience working within an ISO-regulated environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience within a production, planning, or manufacturing environment.
