We’re supporting a specialist manufacturing business in Fareham who are looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their JChem/process team.

What’s the role all about? As a Production Operative, you’ll be responsible for supporting chemical and process-based manufacturing activities, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards. This is a practical, hands-on role working within a controlled manufacturing environment where attention to detail and adherence to procedures is key.

Shift pattern and salary

  • Late Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:00pm – 12:00am
  • No Fridays – 3-day weekends every week
  • Salary: £27,500 per annum
  • Shift uplift: +25%

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out production activities within a chemical/process environment
  • Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions and safety guidelines
  • Support the mixing, handling or processing of materials where required
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Carry out basic inspections and checks during production
  • Maintain accurate production and process records
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality and engineering teams
