Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Fareham. This is a temporary role running from now through to December, offering the opportunity to work within a well-respected manufacturing company, in an environment producing components for the precision engineering customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC grinding machines, specifically Lidköping through-put grinders
- Work with Fanuc-controlled machinery
- Manufacture components from high-grade metals to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Carry out self-inspection of parts using appropriate measuring equipment
- Ensure consistent quality and adherence to aerospace standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC grinding (through-feed / centreless preferred; qualifications not required)
- Strong background in setting and operating machines (essential)
- Experience working with Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
