Are you an experienced Spot Welder Operative or Production Operative with a background in manufacturing or engineering? Do you enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery and producing high-quality components within a fast-paced production environment? We are supporting a specialist manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Spot Welder Operative to join their production team.
As a Spot Welder Operative, you'll be responsible for operating resistance welding equipment to manufacture precision components in line with production and quality standards. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, consistency and quality are key. You'll work closely with production and quality teams to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to specification.
Key responsibilities:- Operate resistance welding machinery and associated production equipment
- Manufacture components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions
- Carry out visual inspections and quality checks on finished products
- Ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications
- Support production targets and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Identify and report faults, defects or production issues
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
- Follow all health, safety and quality procedures
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
