Are you an experienced Service Engineer with experience maintaining generators, UPS systems and control systems? Are you looking for a new role with a thriving, growing company? If so, this Service Engineer role is a great opportunity!

This Service Engineer role will be covering Hampshire, West Sussex, Berkshire, Surrey and surrounding areas. The core working hours for this role are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. The role is offering a basic salary of up to £40,000, with an OTE of £50,000 per annum.

The Service Engineer is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing critical power equipment such as generators, UPS systems, batteries, and control systems across customer sites. Key duties include:

  • Performing fault diagnostics
  • Conducting inspections, installations and commissioning
  • Providing technical support
  • Completing accurate reports
  • Mentoring junior engineers

The role also involves:

  • Participating in an on-call rota
  • Working flexible hours including weekends and overnights
  • Enforcing safety standards
  • Identifying sales opportunities
  • Contributing to training, planning, and continuous improvement efforts across the business

You will need:

  • Previous experience with service, maintenance and repair of power equipment such as generators, UPS systems, batteries and control systems
  • Previous fault finding and diagnostic experience
