Are you an experienced electronics assembler looking to join a collaborative and supportive team? We are currently recruiting for Solderers and Cable Assemblers to support electronic assembly operations at our clients facility, based in Waterlooville and Portsmouth. This is a hands-on role that involves both board-level and box-build assembly. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent soldering skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude. If you are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- PCB assembly, including SMT and PTH soldering
- Cable assembly using crimping tools
- Electro-mechanical assembly
- Interpreting and working from BOMs and engineering drawings
- Performing PCBA rework when required
- Ensuring all work meets required quality standards
- Experience with IPC 610 standards
- Strong PTH and SMT soldering skills
- Confident working with fine-pitch components under a microscope
- Good component recognition and technical understanding
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Inspection experience (desirable, but not essential)
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and a willingness to support wider team objectives
