Interoperability Product Manager (Defence/National Security products) required by my rapidly growing Mission-critical information must move securely across domains, partners and theatres. Here, you will own the interoperability portfolio that makes that possible for defence, government and critical national infrastructure. You turn strategy and customer need into shipped capability—software, services and managed offerings—so operators can exchange information with confidence. This role sits at the centre of product, engineering and the customer, and it matters because delayed or poorly prioritised releases leave high-assurance programmes exposed. Performance Objectives * Refine the company interoperability strategy with the wider team and convert high-level customer, programme and company needs into agreed, dated requirements engineering can deliver. * Own product goals and backlogs: create, order and communicate items so sprint goals, timescales, budgets and spend stay visible to engineering, architecture, delivery and customers. * Plan and accept timely releases—including documentation, implementation and deployment—and keep marketing and the Portfolio Hub current after every ship. * Maintain bills of materials and act on third-party technical and end-of-life updates so the portfolio stays current and supportable. * Build value propositions across software, services and managed services; complete competitor analysis; and feed customer and market learning into backlog priority and roadmap alignment. * Present products, benefits and use cases to customers, gather feedback, and where needed create customer-specific backlogs that still serve the company interoperability roadmap. * Work with the Technical Architect and Delivery Manager so estimating, sprint reviews and stakeholder updates keep delivery on track and trusted. Environment & Resources You report to the Head of Portfolio. Location is independent, ideally within about an hour of Nottingham for frequent time with the interoperability team; UK customer travel as required. You work with Technical Architects, Delivery Managers, engineering, marketing and customer-facing teams. Tools include the product backlog, SharePoint Portfolio Hub, release and BoM processes. Values: Focus, Adaptable, Respect, Collaboration. Essential Qualifications * Proven Product Manager and Product Owner experience in Defence, Government or National Security. * Knowledge of interoperability, integration or secure information exchange—or the ability to build it quickly in a high-assurance context. * Blend of technical and commercial judgement; you brief architects through to senior business stakeholders with equal clarity. * Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills internally and with customers. * Held or eligible for UK SC clearance; willing to work to Nexor and customer information-handling rules
