Deputy Works Manager Halifax Mon-Fri days Deputy Works Manager Main Responsibilities · Lead and support day-shift production teams to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality output. · Monitor attendance, timekeeping and performance, addressing issues promptly and professionally. · Manage staff conduct, communication, conflict and performance concerns. · Maintain workflow efficiency and ensure production targets are met. · Uphold and enforce health & safety standards, challenging unsafe behaviour immediately. · Coordinate labour, machines and materials to maintain smooth factory operations. · Work closely with subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure compliance and quality. · Provide accurate daily reporting, highlighting risks, delays and resource requirements. · Act as a professional leader who can step back from team friendships and maintain managerial objectivity.
