We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, servicing and repair of our landscaping fleet, equipment, and facilities, while also managing the delivery of landscaping projects to the highest standards.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 - Based on experience

Type: Permanent

Hours: 8-hour shift – Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, installation, and ongoing maintenance of landscaping projects, ensuring all work meets client specifications and company quality standards.
  • Manage maintenance and servicing schedules for all vehicles, machinery, and landscaping equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs and liaise with external suppliers and service providers.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment, sites, and completed works are safe, compliant, and operational.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, project documentation, and service schedules.
  • Monitor maintenance and project budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Manage stock levels of parts, tools, materials, and consumables.
  • Lead and support operational teams to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or a Landscaping Manager position.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping operations, plant machinery, commercial vehicles, and grounds maintenance equipment.
  • Experience overseeing landscape installation and maintenance projects.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
  • Relevant horticultural, mechanical, engineering, or maintenance qualifications are desirable.
