We are supporting a large-scale, global manufacturing operation where a significant proportion of worldwide production takes place. This site operates to the highest quality and regulatory standards and plays a critical role in supplying products to international markets.
As the Compliance Specialist, you'll lead site-level GMP compliance activities, ensuring quality systems, documentation and training frameworks meet both regulatory and corporate requirements. This is a highly visible role, working cross-functionally across operations, quality and leadership teams to ensure audit readiness, robust documentation control and continuous improvement.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Implementing and maintaining GMP-compliant policies, procedures and standards
- Leading internal audits and driving site-wide audit readiness
- Staying up to date with GMP regulations and regulatory guidance
- Managing the complaints process, including investigations and trend analysis
- Owning the Annual Product Review (APR) process
- Coordinating product stability programmes and laboratory submissions
- Acting as site SME for GMP documentation systems (deviations, CAPAs, change control, recalls)
- Managing the full lifecycle of controlled documents (SOPs, batch records, investigations, protocols)
- Supporting regulatory dossiers and Cosmetic Product Record requests
- Designing and implementing structured GMP training programmes
- Delivering onboarding and refresher GMP training across the site
- Promoting a strong culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement

To succeed as a Compliance Specialist, you'll bring:
- 5+ years experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong experience managing Quality Systems and controlled documentation
- Proven audit readiness and inspection preparation experience
- Knowledge of complaints management, recalls and product quality review processes
- Strong understanding of GMP, risk management and continuous improvement
- Confidence communicating compliance expectations to all levels
- Ability to work autonomously while supporting cross-functional teams
Desirable:
- Experience with eQMS, SAP and e-learning platforms
- Advanced document control or compliance system ownership
You’re detail-driven, proactive and confident owning compliance. You enjoy problem-solving, improving systems and ensuring standards are met without losing sight of operational reality.
