Location: Brighouse

Salary: £36,000

Hours: Double Day Shift

Monday to Thursday 6:00am 1:45pm, Friday 6:00am 12:25pm

Monday to Thursday 1:40pm 9:25pm, Friday 12:20pm 6:45pm

CNC Machinist

We are currently seeking a Time-Served CNC Miller who is confident programming on FANUC Control Systems and is skilled in small batch machining to tight tolerances. Our client is a well-known and reputable manufacturer who supplies into the oil and gas industries.

CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities:

Set, operate, and program CNC Milling machines using FANUC control systems

Program on FANUC Control Systems.

You will be setting and operating twin pallet horizontal machining centre machines (4 axis).

Produce small batch precision components for oil & gas applications

Interpret and work from technical drawings and engineering specifications

Use micrometres, callipers, and other manual measurement instruments to inspect and ensure accuracy

Collaborate with the production team to ensure optimum efficiency and product quality

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and machine maintenance

CNC Machinist

Requirements:

Time-served apprenticeship in CNC machining or a relevant engineering discipline

Experience with twin pallet horizontal machining centre machines (4 axis)

Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment

Strong ability to program from scratch at the machine using FANUC

Experience with conversational/manual guide software programming

Comfortable working on small batch, high-precision components

Excellent attention to detail with strong manual inspection skills

Knowledge and experience of working within oil & gas or similarly high-spec sectors is desirable
