Mon-Thurs 6.30am-5pm

The Role

You will be responsible for the welding & fabrication of sheet metal sub-assemblies, frameworks and pipework.

Main Responsibilities

  • Welding & fabrication (TIG & MIG) of sheet metal sub-assemblies, frameworks and pipework.
  • Reading & interpreting technical engineering drawings / specifications.
  • Inspecting & measuring finished products, ensuring they are in line with specifications / quality standards.
  • Identifying & reporting any defects.
  • Working to project deadlines.

The Candidate

  • Apprentice Trained or Time Served with City & Guilds qualification.
  • Experience with TIG & MIG.
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Must be able to inspect to specifications.
  • Experience of fabrication in stainless steel or mild steel.
