Reporting to the Quality and Continual Improvement Director, you will create and maintain quality standards and ensure that employees and operational procedures meet the company standards.

Your primary duties include monitoring performance both internal and the external supply chain, creating compliance reports, and being responsible for the company's integrated management system.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Participate in management reviews, ensuring business strategy is aligned with the vision.
  • Continually improve best working practices and procedures to deliver ISO9001 and ISO14001 excellence and certification.
  • Overall responsibility for the IMS.
  • Work with the global quality team to ensure quality functions are aligned across all Stolle sites.
  • Recruit, support and develop QA and QC staff.
  • Co-ordinate and support all QA and QC activities within the company.
  • Manage customer quality improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for inspection activities and resources.
  • Create, monitor and complete quality control plans/build books ensuring all relevant sign offs are undertaken.
  • Co-ordinate FATs, PDIs and customer buy offs on all manufactured machines.
  • Coordinate environmental activities.
  • Champion root cause analysis and preventative actions.
  • Actively support new product development activities.
  • Monitor/maintain calibration records.
The Candidate:
  • Experience in a similar quality position within the engineering and manufacturing industry, preferably working for an OEM business providing market leading equipment.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a quality assurance/quality control environment.
  • Engineering background.
  • Good understanding of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
  • CE, UKCA, NR12 compliance for machinery.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, fabrication, mechanical assembly, machining processes, electrical engineering, etc.
  • Analytic thinking skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Qualified Auditor certification.
