IT Support Analyst Barnsley (S73) | Office-Based Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 + Excellent Benefits Are you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting users in a fast-paced environment? We're working with a successful and growing multi-site business looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst to join their internal IT team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied support role, working closely with colleagues across multiple locations and helping to deliver a reliable, secure and efficient IT service. The Role You'll provide day-to-day IT support to users across the business, resolving technical issues, configuring equipment and ensuring systems run smoothly. This is a predominantly onsite role offering plenty of variety and exposure to a broad range of technologies. Key Responsibilities Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support via phone, email, remote access and in person. Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues. Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams and OneDrive. Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals. Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions. Support new starters and leavers with equipment and account setup. Maintain IT asset records and software licence information. Assist with IT security, compliance and system improvement initiatives. Liaise with third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues. Contribute to IT projects, upgrades and system rollouts. About You Previous experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk or Service Desk role. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Organised, methodical and able to manage multiple priorities. A proactive approach and willingness to learn new technologies.
