Welder/Fabricator
Aylesford
40 Hour Week
£19-23ph (DOE)
An established and growing manufacturing business is looking for
an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join its skilled production
team.
The Role
Working alongside an experienced team, you’ll be responsible for
MIG welding and fabrication work, ensuring products are completed
safely, accurately and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- MIG welding and fabrication of a range of materials
- Cutting materials to size from works orders
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Quality checking JIG work and finished products
- Completing safety and quality inspection checks
- Safe wrapping and palletising of finished products
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Supporting machine maintenance and general housekeeping
- Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a Welder or Fabricator
- Strong MIG welding skills
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience working accurately to deadlines
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A flexible, team-focused and positive attitude
- The ability to undertake manual handling
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driving licence
