We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing operation in Huddersfield. This role would suit an experienced production professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality products.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialist machinery, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the smooth running of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery in line with manufacturing specifications and production schedules.
  • Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Undertake machine set-ups, adjustments, and changeovers.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify any operational issues.
  • Accurately record production data and relevant documentation.
  • Support effective shift handovers and communicate production updates.
  • Follow all health & safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator within a manufacturing or production environment.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating 3-week shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Week 3: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm to 6:00am
