Site-Based Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Central London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Contract: Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Site-Based Fire Alarm Engineer to
join a well-established fire and security business supporting
site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an
engineer who enjoys autonomy, problem solving, and taking
ownership of a site while working with industry-leading fire
detection and life safety systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine
servicing.
* Diagnose faults and complete minor repairs on fire alarm
systems.
* Attend emergency callouts and resolve issues efficiently.
* Maintain accurate service records, worksheets, and compliance
documentation.
* Build strong relationships with the on-site client.
* Identify opportunities to improve system performance.
* Attend training and stay up to date with industry standards and
technology.
* Escalate critical issues and provide practical solutions when
required.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm
systems.
* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
* Knowledge of systems such as Notifier, Kentec, Advanced,
Simplex, Voice Alarm, Gas Suppression and HSSD would be highly
advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Commitment to compliance and life-safety standards.
