£35-40,000 plus Benefits
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Designer to
join a growing business specialising in timber construction and
modular building solutions.
This varied role combines CAD design, estimating and customer
service, supporting customers from their initial enquiry through
to quotation and order placement. You’ll work closely with
customers and internal teams to develop tailored solutions,
ensuring designs meet requirements and quotations are accurate.
Key Responsibilities
* Producing CAD designs and supporting technical drawings.
* Preparing accurate quotations and estimates for construction
products and modular buildings.
* Liaising with customers to understand their requirements and
provide suitable solutions.
* Interpreting technical drawings, specifications and project
details.
* Supporting orders from initial enquiry through to placement.
* Coordinating with design and production teams to ensure
projects run smoothly.
* Managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
About You
* Previous experience in estimating, sales, construction, timber,
builders’ merchants or a related industry is essential.
* Experience using CAD or other design software.
* Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
* Confident interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
* Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing
deadlines.
* A proactive approach with good communication and
problem-solving skills.
