A growing and well established manufacturing business is looking
for an experienced Commercial Sales Manager to lead and develop
its internal commercial function.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll oversee Technical
Support, Order Processing, Quotations/Estimating and Customer
Services, ensuring teams work effectively together and deliver an
excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the internal commercial team
* Improve processes, efficiency and customer service
* Work closely with external sales to maximise commercial
opportunities
* Oversee quotations, pricing, order processing and CRM
* Develop KPIs and drive continuous improvement
* Improve communication between Sales, Technical, Operations and
Production
* Support the transition to a new internal commercial structure
You’ll ideally have:
* Experience within a manufacturing or technical environment
* People management experience
* Previous sales/business development exposure
* Strong commercial, analytical and communication skills
* Experience with ERP and CRM systems
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
* Strong Excel/IT skills
* A proactive approach to process improvement and team
development
