To strengthen our team, we are recruiting a Service Coordinator. This is your chance to lead a team of dedicated social care professionals, take responsibility for the performance and quality of a support and care service, and shape the experience of the people we support every day. As a Service Coordinator, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of social care colleagues to deliver the highest standards of support.
  • Take accountability for the performance and quality of a support and care service, including compliance with Care Inspectorate, SSSC, contractual obligations from commissioners, financial responsibility for your Service’s budget, and health and safety requirements.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with the people we support, their families, our staff and partner agencies, and act on feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Share an on-call rota with fellow Service Coordinators to provide out-of-hours leadership and decision‑making support for our teams.
  • Use a data based approach to identify areas for improvement and performance.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds, or is working towards, SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9 and a PDA in Supervision, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Has line management experience in health and social care and a working knowledge of the Care Inspectorate, Health and Social Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
  • Coaches and develops teams with confidence, handling people management responsibilities such as performance, absence, learning and recruitment.
  • Stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and is comfortable using everyday IT systems to manage information and reporting.
