The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Duties will include conducting prayer meetings, overseeing church and groups on a daily basis, wedding ceremonies, funerals, evangelism, preaching, teaching, giving spiritual guidance to the congregation and among other duties.

Specific Areas of Pastoral Work Responsibilities

  • Act and speak on behalf of the Senior and Resident Pastors when he is not available.
  • Conduct regular worship for the church members.
  • Providing religious education for children and adults by preaching or teaching.
  • Leading at marriages, christening, funerals and other special services.
  • Offering counseling and welfare support to members of the church.
  • Planting and establishing new parishes and nourishing the new churches to maturity including supervision.
  • Evangelism, preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ and winning souls for Christ.
  • Organizing water baptism and spiritual nurturing of new converts.
  • Renewal of parish plan for visitation and member care.
  • Open and close the church as needed which might include Saturday and Sunday.
  • Get the church ready for worship service.
  • Welcome people passing by when the church is open and be able to pray with them and provide biblical counseling.
  • Experience of leading worship through songs and prayers.
  • Ability to promote the church's upcoming activities and events using different mediums.
  • And any other church-related duties as needed to keep the church running smoothly.

  • The interested applicant will be someone who has a personal devotion to Jesus and will be committed to the teachings, mission, and vision of the Kingdom Heritage Christian Centre.
  • You should be willing and prepared to travel to other cities within and outside Great Britain for missionary work, should the need arise.
  • Able to articulate and share his/her personal Christian faith.
  • Passionate about working with people, especially young people in the community and the branch church.
  • Committed to a team approach to ministry and able to provide clear direction when delegating responsibilities.
  • Able to work without direct supervision and willing to act with self-initiative.
  • Personally mature in the things of the Kingdom.
  • Willing to work within the context of the whole parish, addressing complex or menial tasks that may be shared by all staff, lay ministers, or volunteers.
  • Intellectually capable and willing to pursue additional study and professional/spiritual development.
  • Able to relate to youth and young adults in the context of the current culture, with unflinching faith.
  • Dedicated to working with the pastor and parish staff, parish leaders and other parish committees to fulfill the mission and vision of the parish.
  • Committed to the growth of the Church.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Applicant must have knowledge in Counselling.
  • Have a degree.
  • Demonstrate good organizational, planning, and communication skills (including listening skills).
  • Have good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage conflicts.
  • Be fluent in English language.
  • Be knowledgeable in the word of God and in the doctrines of the Church (Kingdom Heritage Christian Fellowship).

You will also be required to undergo DBS Check for this role. Three ordained pastors are required for this role. The place of primary assignment will be at the Headquarters in Purley Way Croydon and will be reporting to the lead pastor. Under employer equality (Religious and Beliefs) Regulations 2003 Section 7, this post has a genuine occupational requirement to be a Christian.

Job Type: Full-time - 30 hours per week.
