Community Care Assistant – No experience required!

Location: Newry and surrounding areas

Shifts: Flexible – part time & full time available

Pay: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour (+ holidays & 35p per mile mileage) and benefits

Driving Licence & Vehicle: Driving licence and access to a vehicle required.

Essential Criteria:

  • No prior care experience required – full training is provided.
  • A genuine interest in supporting others.

  • Driver's licence & access to a car.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliability & a positive attitude.
  • Willing to complete an enhanced Access NI check.

Main Duties:

  • Help with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
  • Prompt medication & monitor health changes.
  • Support with mobility & daily living tasks.
  • Provide companionship & reduce isolation.
  • Keep the home environment safe.
  • Keep accurate care notes & report concerns.
