An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Supervisor to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd working at a brewery distribution site in Northampton, NN4 area.
Main Duties: Manage the gatehouse and control access and egress of all vehicles and pedestrians to site ensuring all documentation, policies and procedures are followed.
Hours:On average 60 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Friday 06:00am β 18:00pm.
Pay rate: Β£13.00 per hour, increasing to Β£13.21 after probation

Responsibilities
- Introduce yourself at the start of a new shift β Have a \βcan do\β attitude and accept reasonable instruction β Smile, acknowledge, say hello, use eye contact & engage during shift β Cultivate a good team working relationship (inc local police) β Wear appropriate contract uniform β ID Card & SIA License β Are you proud of how you look today / promoting professionalism? β Be knowledgeable.
- Asset protection (Stock, Property, People).
- Be aware of location layout β High profile visual patrols β Being observant & vigilant β Be aware of hot spots and identify areas of concern β Deter persons with intent to commit a criminal act, play your part in providing a safe work environment and reducing any loss.
- Safe & Secure.
- Book on/off and make safety calls at an agreed frequency β Be aware of life safety systems & safe to work procedures e.g. alarms, first aid, fire doors clear, react and support swiftly β Make safe, calm and controlled decisions β Record & escalate appropriately.
- Assignment Instructions (AIs).
- Content awareness including, breaks & welfare, personal mobile phone & headset use, smoking policy, risk assessment & crisis management.
- General Responsibilities.
- Access & egress control β CCTV monitoring β Key control β Site patrols, checks & lockdowns β Equipment use and maintenance β Maintain a daily log book β Arrest & Search (must be aware of policies) β Administration.
Person Specification
- A valid SIA licence.
- A full five year checkable employment history.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Surveillance skills.
- Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
- Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
- IT skills.
