Candy Crush Candy Saga is looking for a UX Designer to bring their passion for games and design to craft delightful player experiences for our players worldwide.

Your role is to craft experiences that keep, engage, and delight our global Candy Crush Saga audience. The role requires someone versatile and willing to take on diverse creative challenges to help us build the best gameplay experience for Candy Crush Saga, played by millions worldwide.

Across all stages of the design process, you will work closely with other designers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to uncover new opportunities, execute compelling design ideations, and develop end-to-end solutions that bring simplicity, intuition, and delight to the core gameplay experience on the Candy Crush Saga gameboard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the UX design of core gameplay features on the gameboard, ensuring alignment with the game's creative vision, player needs, and business goals.
  • Ensure creative excellence through wireframes, flows, copywriting, low-fi, and hi-fi mockups, and animated, interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate with other UX peers to strike a cohesive overall gameplay experience.
  • Work closely with Game Designers, UI designers, Artists, and Developers to deliver design solutions for identified problem/opportunity spaces.
  • Analyse competitor games to gather insights and work closely with UX Researchers, Analysts, and Product Managers to ensure hypotheses are properly validated and that data and player insights are turned into meaningful experiences.
  • Explore new opportunities and practices, AI tooling, and UX theories to enhance our methodological toolkits.

Skills to create thrills:

  • Proficiency and years of demonstrated success in UX design for free-to-play mobile games.
  • Excellent communicator, possessing strong oral, written, and social skills to execute copywriting tasks and express the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Experience in design thinking, with validated expertise in designing gameplay experiences for match-3 games.
  • Knowledge of technical constraints, optimisation, and implementation.
  • Expertise in the prototyping tool Figma and knowledge of and interest in copywriting, emerging AI tools (e.g., Figma Make), and freemium best practices.
  • Highly creative, with a knack for developing standout ideas that bring the “wow” to our players.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and the ability to change things on the fly.
