Job Description

We are looking for a UI Artist to help shape and produce the visual interface for our mobile Minecraft blast game.

This role sits between Art Direction, Game Design, UX, and Tech.

Your goal is to create clear, polished, playful, and production-ready UI assets that support the game experience and match the project’s cute, quirky, and high-quality visual tone.

The ideal candidate has strong graphic design foundations, excellent iconography and illustration skills, and a good understanding of how UI is implemented in Unity.

Knowledge of 3D workflows is important, and Blender experience is a plus.

Your role within the Kingdom

  • Design and produce high-quality UI assets for mobile gameplay, menus, HUDs, events, and live features.
  • Create clear, readable, and polished icons, buttons, panels, badges, frames, and interface elements.
  • Develop illustrative UI elements that support the game’s visual identity.
  • Work from wireframes, UX flows, and art direction to create final UI visuals.
  • Maintain consistency across UI screens, systems, and feature updates.
  • Prepare assets for Unity implementation with correct formats, naming, slicing, and optimization.
  • Support the creation of UI style guides, templates, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with UX, Design, Tech, and Art Direction to ensure UI is beautiful, functional, and production-ready.
  • Review in-game implementation and help polish final results.
  • Contribute ideas to improve readability, usability, and visual quality.
  • Collaboration and Integration
  • Work closely with Art Direction to maintain the project’s visual style.
  • Collaborate with Game Designers and UX Designers to support clear player flows.
  • Work with Unity developers to ensure UI assets integrate correctly.
  • Coordinate with 2D, 3D, VFX, and animation teams when UI requires cross-discipline support.
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams and respond well to feedback.
  • Support production priorities while keeping a strong eye on quality and consistency.
