Help shape and scale King’s most visible time-limited experiences. As a Principal Product Analyst dedicated to Candy Product Marketing, you’ll be an embedded analytics expert for marketing events, partnering across Product, Marketing, Economy, and Gameplay Analytics to design high-performing experiences, quantify opportunities, and deliver measurable growth. You will be part of the Candy Gameplay Analytics team and work closely with other data scientists and analysts.
Your role within the Kingdom
- Strong product and live ops expertise – understand core game mechanics, PvP/tournaments, reward economies, engagement loops, and live operations dynamics.
- Strategic advisor and opportunity shaper – identify structural growth opportunities across tentpoles by analysing player behaviour, performance patterns, and portfolio gaps; proactively surface and prioritise areas by incremental impact potential; support roadmap discussions with quantified trade-offs, scenario modelling, and clear opportunity sizing.
- Discovery support and experience co-designer – embed from the earliest discovery phase to validate hypotheses with behavioural data, segmentation insights, and rapid learning loops; co-design mechanics, meta structures, and engagement loops with Product and Marketing.
- End-to-end experimentation leader – define measurement frameworks and north-star KPIs; design and run A/B tests and experiments for complex scenarios (e.g., blackouts, restarts, staggered rollouts); ensure results are statistically sound and translated into concrete actions.
- Economy and reward design capability – quantify optimal reward structures, monetisation loops, and player value trade-offs to balance engagement, fairness, and commercial outcomes.
- Performance, forecasting, and holistic measurement – build impact forecasts and full-funnel performance evaluations (participation, retention, monetisation, acquisition); partner with Consumer Marketing Analytics to produce consolidated reporting that aligns in-game and out-of-game performance under a shared measurement framework.
- Autonomous and embedded partner – fully dedicated to the team’s roadmap; own analytics strategy for major tentpoles (e.g., All Stars) while operating seamlessly across functions.

- Advanced SQL (BigQuery or similar) and proficiency with Python or R; experience with BI/visualisation tools (e.g., Looker).
- Strong statistics/applied experimentation background; comfortable with ambiguity and complex, multi-variate environments.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with large tournament-style events and time-limited modes at scale.
- Familiarity with player segmentation frameworks, LTV modelling, and portfolio-level trade-off analysis.
- Experience consolidating in-game and marketing performance into a single, aligned measurement framework.
