This key role is integral to the Commercial Finance FP&A team at King. You will be responsible for driving forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis across King’s franchises and marketing, with a focus on IAP and Marketing. Working closely with Business Partners, central finance, and other functions, you will ensure high-quality financial processes, deliver actionable insights, and help shape strategic decisions with robust financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Planning: Lead quarterly forecast preparation and reviews, ensuring assumptions are robust, consistent, and aligned with business strategies. Contribute to long‑range planning and scenario modelling.
  • Performance Management: Deliver weekly and monthly performance analysis, including pacing, revenue commentary, and risks & opportunities. Provide insights that help explain trends and highlight actions.
  • Reporting Excellence: Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packs (Monthly P&Ls, S&OP, BD reporting where relevant). Ensure outputs are accurate, timely, and consistent across the Commercial Finance team.
  • Analytical Insight: Conduct deep dives, ad hoc analysis, and investment modelling (e.g., for performance marketing spend or new initiatives) to support decision‑making.
  • Collaboration & Partnership: Work closely with Finance Business Partners, central finance, and Finance Data Labs to align on assumptions, provide context, and ensure the one version of the truth in all outputs.
  • Process & Tool Development: Support continuous improvement of forecasting and reporting processes, including use of Forecasto and other tools. Drive automation and process enhancements to improve efficiency and insight.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven FP&A experience in a global, fast‑paced industry (gaming, tech, or digital preferred).
  • Strong technical competence in forecasting, planning, and financial modelling.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets, with advanced Excel and financial systems skills; experience with Forecasto, Hyperion, or similar tools an advantage.
  • Ability to translate complex financial and non‑financial data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work effectively with Business Partners and non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, combined with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
