We are looking for a highly organised and collaborative Associate Producer or Producer to join King New Games and support the ongoing development of Minecraft Blast, our new puzzle title created in partnership with Mojang Studios.
You will work closely with the Executive Producer, Craft Leads, and the wider crossâdisciplinary team to keep development flowing smoothly across multiple phases of the project roadmap. You will help ensure the team has clarity on upcoming work, support task scoping and estimation, and maintain healthy production quality delivery. This role offers a strong growth path for an Associate Producer aiming to develop into a Producer role, while also being open to more experienced candidates ready to operate at Producer level.
Responsibilities- Support planning and execution across evolving roadmap phases, enabling the team to deliver highâquality features and content.
- Manage and maintain the JIRA backlog and boards, ensuring work is clearly articulated, prioritised, and prepared for upcoming sprints.
- Partner with Craft Leads and team members to identify, define, and break down tasks, gathering input to create clear scopes with realistic estimates.
- Drive sprint hygiene by preparing backlog items, reviewing dependencies, and ensuring upcoming sprints have appropriate readyâtoâstart work.
- Track progress of deliverables and surface risks early, supporting the team in developing mitigation plans.
- Work closely with the Executive Producer and Craft Leads to maintain alignment on goals, priorities, and development flow.
- Facilitate crossâdisciplinary communication, ensuring the right people are connected at the right time.
- Support dayâtoâday team operations: standâups, ceremonies, reviews, playtests, and key development discussions.
- Help keep Confluence and workflow documentation organised and current for ease of onboarding and team clarity.
- Collaborate with QA to support testing cycles, bug triage, and readiness for internal builds.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of team ways of working as the project evolves through multiple development phases.
- Experience in a Production role in game development.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple workstreams.
- Experience with agile development and familiarity with JIRA or other task management tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
- Ability to gather information and translate it into clear plans, tasks, or estimates.
- A proactive, problemâsolving mindset with a focus on clarity and removing ambiguity.
- Experience with mobile FreeâtoâPlay development, particularly puzzle or casual games.
- Experience working with licensed IP or external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with distributed teams and multiâoffice collaboration.
- Understanding of analytics, KPIs, and common F2P feature patterns.
