This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of King’s financial decision-making and operating rhythm. As Finance Director, Central Finance, you will shape how the company plans, forecasts, measures, and communicates financial performance, providing the insight, rigor, and operational leadership that underpin strategic decisions at the most senior levels.
You will lead the Central Finance team, owning end-to-end financial consolidation, planning, pacing, and reporting across King, ensuring leadership has clear, timely, and actionable insight on performance, risks, and opportunities.
Partnering closely with the CFO, Finance Leadership Team, King SLT, Gaming Finance, Microsoft Finance, and broader business stakeholders, you will play a critical role in driving alignment, accountability, and Finance excellence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Own end-to-end financial consolidation and reporting across actuals, forecasts, pacing, budgets, and long‑range planning
- Lead company‑wide forecasting and planning cycles, ensuring alignment, accuracy, rigor, and clear decision support for leadership
- Drive high standards across forecasting processes, governance, and operational execution
- Ensure planning cycles operate with pace, consistency, accountability, and clear stakeholder alignment
Reporting, Insight & Decision Support
- Deliver clear, timely, and actionable performance insights to senior leadership and executive forums
- Translate complex financial outputs into compelling narratives that support executive and board‑level decision‑making
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, driving accountability and follow‑through across the organisation
- Own performance tracking against key targets and ensure alignment across Finance and business stakeholders
- Support leadership decision‑making through high‑quality analysis, insight, and communication
Systems, Models & Governance
- Ensure integrity, accuracy, and robustness of financial models, forecasts, and reporting outputs
- Evolve tools, automation, and data quality to enhance scalability, efficiency, and insight generation
- Implement strong controls, governance, and documentation across all planning and reporting processes
- Continuously improve processes and ways of working to support a fast‑paced and evolving business environment
Leadership & Business Partnership
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high‑performing team of Finance professionals
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior stakeholders across King and Microsoft
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships to ensure Finance has a clear, credible, and influential voice
- Partner closely with the CFO, Finance Leadership Team, Gaming Finance, and business leaders on enterprise‑wide financial priorities
